Sandy is an award-winning Dental Implant and General Restorative Surgeon. Sandy's philosophy is to deliver care in a relaxing and happy environment, where her patients have their long-term dental health needs met and achieve happy, healthy smiles.

With over 20 years of practice, Sandy has become a trusted name in the field of dental implantology. Sandy graduated with honours from The University of Glasgow Dental School. She has also been awarded a Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England, as well as a Master Degree in the field of research in Dental Implantology from the University Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid.

Sandy's education and professional development

Sandy began her dental training at The University of Glasgow Dental School. She graduated with Honours and was top of her class, being awarded the 'most distinguished student' in her year in 2002.
She intercalated her dental dental degree with a 2-year Bachelor of Science degree in Pathology, graduating with first class honours, in 1999.
Following her graduation from Glasgow Dental School, Sandy began her dental career as a Vocational Trainee (VT) in an NHS practice in Rochdale in 2002, winning the Vocational Training prize for the North West of England in 2003.
She then took up a one year position as Senior House Officer (SHO) in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Wythenshawe Hospital, South Manchester NHS trust. During her time as an SHO Sandy studied and gained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2005.
Sandy subsequently moved on to study a three year part-time Postgraduate Diploma (DPDS) in Dental Practice Studies including fixed and removable prosthodontics and oral surgery on the University of Bristol Postgraduate Dental Programme in 2010.
In 2018, Sandy qualified with a Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England, and was most recently awarded a Master Degree in the field of research in Dental Implantology from the University Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid.
