Facial aesthetic treatments
Lines and wrinkles are an inevitable part of the ageing process. That’s because as you age, the production of elastin and collagen in your body slows down, which causes wrinkles. These can be particularly noticeable around the eyes, mouth and forehead.

Facial aesthetic treatments can add volume and smooth your skin, subtly refreshing your appearance.
They can also enhance symmetry in your appearance by making small adjustments to certain areas of your face.
What is facial aesthetics?
Facial aesthetics is a broad term that can refer to anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers and lip fillers.
This discipline involves addressing key concerns about the face, including loss of volume, fine lines or wrinkles.

These results won’t last forever and will eventually wear off, but you can choose to have them “topped up” regularly if you wish to maintain the results.
During your initial consultation with our facial aesthetics team, we can help you to identify your primary concerns and the treatments that will deliver the best results for you.

What is the treatment process?
There are three main treatment options available for facial aesthetics. Our patients can choose from anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers and lip fillers.

-
Anti-wrinkle injections are commonly used to relax the muscles in the face so that the skin above appears smoother.
-
Dermal fillers are used to restore volume in the face.
-
Lip fillers are similar to dermal fillers but are used to plump up the lips.
How much do facial aesthetic treatments cost?
The cost of facial aesthetics at Cottage Dental will depend on the treatments you choose and the areas that will be treated.
To give you an idea of how our pricing works, dermal filler, and lip filler starts from just £160. Dermal filler treatment prices are calculated by the amount of filler used.
Anti-wrinkle treatment prices start from £180 for treatment of a single area.
