Children aged 0–11 — Dental Exams Included

If a parent or guardian is enrolled in our Gold or Platinum Membership, children up to their 11th birthday are entitled to:

✔ Regular monitoring from an early age
✔ Support in building healthy habits for life
We want every child to start strong with dental care that’s preventative, not reactive.

Children aged 11–18 — Continued Coverage Available
As children grow, their mouths can change quickly and regular monitoring becomes even more important.
For dependant children aged 11–18, membership continues at:
£7 per month, per child (as an addition to a parent/guardian’s Gold or Platinum Membership)
This provides:

Routine bitewing X-rays are included every 24 months. Extra X-rays are available at a 10% discounted rate.

Appointments must be taken within the membership year and cannot be carried forward.

Before you join
Our dentists will need to carry out a New Patient Exam before you sign up, which is £99.00, or £125 with Dr Limierick.
Our new patient exam is centred around getting to know you and your oral health. This ensures you join the plan that is best suited to your needs and goals.

Every new adult member will be charged a £10 sign up fee, which will be added to the first monthly payment only.

What about NHS appointments?
We are no longer operating an NHS service at Cottage Dental.
I'm a current 'pay as you go' patient, how do I sign up?
We will need to update your records at a private dental exam appointment before you sign up our plans. This is so our dentists can advise which plan will best suit your dental needs.
I'm a new patient, how do I sign up?
We ask all new patients to call our reception team on 01270 765771 to book a new patient dental exam which is £95.00, this is so that our dentists can advise which plan will best suit your dental needs before you join.
Is there a sign up fee?
Yes. Every new adult member will be charged a £9.50 sign up fee, which will be added to the first monthly payment.
What are your Private and Plan treatment Prices?
Please visit our private pay-as-you-go prices. Please note these are subject to change.
Are there other plans available?
Yes. We do have more tailored hygiene and denture plans. These will be explained, costs outlined and offered by your dentist if neccessary.
What if I don’t want to join?
If you don’t wish to become a member, we will happily continue seeing you on a pay-as-you-go basis. This means paying for your appointments without benefitting from spreading the cost, 10% discount on many treatments, Worldwide emergency dental care or dependent children under age 11 years of age being included in your membership.
Appointment cancellations and rescheduling
Members are encouraged to attend their scheduled appointments. Frequent cancellations or rescheduling of appointments may result in the forfeiture of your plan benefits for that period. Memberships cannot be cancelled after appointments have been booked, and refunds will not be issued for missed or unfulfilled services. See our cancellation policy.
Hygiene appointments and exams must be taken within the membership year and cannot be rolled over to the next year.
